Avoid Phishing Emails

A Scenario-Based Microlearning Experience on Recognizing and Responding to Phishing Attempts

Summary

Avoid Phishing Emails is a scenario-based, microlearning course prototype built in Captivate Classic to demonstrate my ability to design interactive and responsive learning experiences. Focused on the warning signs of phishing emails, the course uses realistic scenario and branching feedback to engage learners in short, practical decision-making exercise.

My Role

I handled everything from content development to scenario writing, branching logic, and technical buildout in Captivate. The course reflects my approach to microlearning—focused, actionable, and built around behavior change.

The Process

I drew on experience with cybersecurity training and common phishing examples to write a clear, relatable scenario. I designed the course to be concise, with direct navigation and minimal distractions to keep focus on the decisions.
